Diocesan Pastoral Plan Review (2009)

As part of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan Review, each parish was asked to provide responses to a questionnaire, giving an opportunity for self-evaluation, to identify strengths and weaknesses, and the best focus for the way forward across the diocese.  At both OLOL (Sawston) and OLEM broad input was requested from parishioners, through the Bulletin, Web site and via meeting, and the results are available at:

As with its title, the Plan (and the Review) sets out how we could and should be doing things together, how we move 'forward and outward' together.  Following the extensive year-long consultation in 2009, and given the wide-spread encouragement to continue using the Plan's flexible norms, Bishop Michael’s summary report is available at: A copy of the Pastoral Plan is kept on the Diocesan Website, and is also available on the OLEM parish Web site www.olem.org.uk, along with the Review questionnaire:

If you have ideas, comments or queries about the Pastoral Plan, please come along to parish Forum/AGM meetings, and/or do get in contact, via the Web site, Office, or details below.

Council of Laity Reports, Minutes, Constitution, plus the Diocesan Pastoral Plan, are online at http://www.catholiceastanglia.org/ - Contact Ronald Haynes (01223 690089 / ronaldhaynes@yahoo.com - OLEM) or Nick Ash (nick.ash@ntlworld.com - OLOL) for questions or further details.
